About This DVD

The Ryoo brothers have team up for the hit action comedy Arahan. Ryoo Seung Wan (The City of Violence) takes the director's chair, while Ryoo Seung Bum (Crying Fist) slips into the role of the justice-seeking cop Sang Hwan. Trying to rid the world of criminals, he shuns no efforts to unravel the mysteries of Taoist power. Luck is on his side as The Seven Masters appear out of thin air and train him to become a helping hand for hero Eui Jin. Just when Sang Hwan believes that everything will change for the better, Evil Lord Heung Un manages to escape from his prison. Can Sang Hwan's new powers aid Eui Jin stop Heung Un's evil intentions?

Winner of the grand prize at the 2004 Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, Arahan now arrives on Blu-ray for the first time ever. This English-subtitled Blu-ray edition comes with two audio commentaries, an introduction to martial art films from the 1960s to the 1980s, deleted scenes (with commentary), making of, stage events, and trailers.
