About This Book
It starts with the scene a woman and her daughter strangle a middle-aged
man to death. The victim is Tomigashi, and the killer is his divorced
wife, Yasuko. Tomigashi was a shameless knave who's been extorting money
out of Yasuko. A man living next door, named Ishigami, who once was
touted as the genius of the century and is now a high school math
teacher, volunteers to help Yasuko and her daughter. Ishigami has been
