About This DVD
For their 100th day anniversary, high school student Tae Hoon (Seo Jun Young) and his girlfriend Mi Jung (Lee Min Ji) take a trip to the beach on their own during winter break. When they return home a few days later, their parents lay down the law, ordering the 18-year-old lovebirds to focus on their studies and to stop seeing each other until college. Tae Hoon struggles to keep their relationship afloat, while Mi Jung yields to her parents' demand. As spring arrives, Tae Hoon and Mi Jung both turn 19. Writer-director Jang Kun Jae reminds us what it feels like to be Eighteen again in his sensitive indie youth drama. Delving into the earnest, confused world of two adolescents on the brink of adulthood, the bittersweet coming-of-age story won prizes at the 46th Pesaro Film Festival and the 2009 Vancouver Film Festival.
