About This Book
This is the complete version of "Uyadam," Korea's first talk house. All 30 different versions of "Uuyadam" were compared to the original version and translated accurately based on the finished original. In addition, the original text of Uyadam, which was completed through a copy comparison, was included in the background, and a collective edition of Euyadam was made.
Uyadam is a classic of Korean literature that has been a constant source of interest since the beginning of the study of Korean literature. The author Yoo Mong-in is a liberal-minded writer with a loose temperament, and it is this talk collection that was created by projecting his unacceptable disposition into the public world.
Euyadam, which is far from the existing prose genre, was disparaged because it recorded the dirty work of the private sector at the time, but it was read and transmitted among a group of great masters. It is significant in that the popular material dealt with by Uyadam has attracted the attention of some of the aristocrats and provided an opportunity for literary interest to expand into a deconstructive area by breaking away from the worldview centered on the aristocracy.
