About This DVD
This historical drama is based on the life of Huh Joon, who became a royal
physician.
This great historical drama about the stormy life of Hur Jun, a legendary doctor
of the Chosun Dynasty, is loved by the whole Korean nation! In this realistic
production, the lives of ordinary people during the period are well depicted.
Hur Jun was an illegitimate child of the governor of Pyong Ahn Do (a region in
Northern Korea), who seemed to be getting into troubles all the time. To start a
new life, Hur Jun and his mother embarked on a long journey to Kyungsang Do (a
region in Southern Korea.) This is where he met the reputable Dr. Yoo and
started his medical training. Soon his life started to get complicated.
