Saga novel Honbul (literally meaning "Fire of the Soul") that
significantly influenced the Korean literature in the end of 20th
century introduced new aspect of ecological literature in Korean modern
literature. Also it clearly recovered and revived our folk literature.
The author Myung-Hee Choi who read the Korean dictionary like poetry
