About This DVD
Fall in love with I Love You!
Korean TV drama favorites Ahn Jae Wook (Mr. Goodbye) and Seo Ji Hye (Over the
Rainbow) shine in this playful romantic story about finding love and strength
when you least expect it.
Chul-Soo (Ahn Jae Wook, Mr. Goodbye) is a 35-year-old comic book artist. Already
struggling to make ends meet, his life takes a drastic turn for the worst when
he finds out his 21-year-old girlfriend (Seo Ji Hye, Over the Rainbow) is
pregnant! But will these two lovebirds be able to piece together their lives in
order to make a happy family?
Based on Hur Young Man's popular comic series, the drama also stars Kong Hyung
Jin (Alone In Love) and Jo Mi Ryeong (Thank You). Filled with funny,
heartwarming moments and postcard images, you are bound to fall in love with I
Love You!
Suk Chul Soo and Na Young Hee are a newly wedded couple with an age gap of 14
years. This is a drama that tells the story of a couple who just had a baby
because of a one night stand. It will portray the modern generation's view on
love and marriage as well as the responsibility of raising a child. Park Byung
Ho was thoughtless and threw away his child for a better income and life who
later regrets this and learns to love.
SBS tackles the thorny matter of marriage in its latest drama, "I Love You -
2008", slated to hit the small screen on March 31, 2008.A spin-off of Heo Yeong-man's
hit comic book series "I Love You - 2008", SBS's new miniseries kept it light
and fuzzy in what promises to be a bold and cheeky take on the lives of three
married couples.
"I Love You - 2008" ventures into risky territory from the get-go -- adultery,
divorce, premarital sex and pregnancy, all within two hours, and, with a comic
slant. There are some similarities between Judd Apatow's hit flick "Knocked Up"
(2007) and SBS's "I Love You - 2008". The hero gets the heroine with-child in
both stories. But the similarities end there.
If Judd's hero, Ben Stone, was eager to wed his pregnant one-night stand, Ahn's
character, Suk Chul-soo just wants to find a way out. Suk's reaction to the
situation might just be a bit more realistic. After all, what man is eager to
take full responsibility for a woman he hardly knows?
And Suk isn't the only guy in this miniseries to be forced into an unwanted
marriage. Pop star-turned-actor Hwan-hee, 25, plays Park Byung-ho, a Jimi
Hendrix-worshipping room salon band leader who manages to get his girlfriend
pregnant, and now faces his own marital death sentence.
