Steering away from the romance and concentrating more on the drama, Revenge
(aka: Resurrection, Life Again), a complex new series from KBS, tells a
thrilling tale of identical twins separated at birth.
After a horrific car crash kills his father, young Ha Eun (Uhm Tae-Wung) is taken in by a
family of strangers and raised to be a caring, happy young man. He becomes a
police officer and begins to look into the death of his father, only to discover
some horrifying truths about not only the accident, but also his own identity.
Ha Eun discovers that his name is really Kang Hyuk and that he has a twin
brother called Shin Hyuk (also played by Uhm), who is now VP of a large company.
When a cruel twist of fate gives Ha Eun the opportunity to assume his brother's
identity he sees this as his chance to discover the truth about his tragic past.
Here, we have a young man, who has lived enthusiastically. In spite of the
miserable past, he has been living truly and sincerely.
The harsh realities of life were awaiting him, the one who believes the truth is
the only hope and power in this corrupted society. People who have destroyed the
happiness of one’s family for power, money and untruthful love� They live in
wealth and prosperity crying for justice. Can we still believe that the truth is
our hope and the world is honest?
He tried to repress his anger to revenge cause he knew the revenge is another
evil and the hatred will finally bring about his ruin.
However, to cover their evil with the evil, they killed his only brother/sister.
Now, he cannot stop the hatred toward them anymore.
With his joyful life turned to a nightmare, he abandoned all of believes and
