About This Book
I met Si Woo for the first time at the closed school with the myrtle
tree. On Si Woo¡¯s 20th birthday, on a day it poured snow, he was looking
for his disappeared father. I had gone to Kangkyung by chance and end up
meeting the mysterious ¡®Kim Bronze Piece¡¯, who loves Han Da Soo¡¯s songs
with his friend, Bushy Beard, and lives at the salt house at the top of
Mt. Oknyeo. Bronze Piece¡¯s family was made up of a fully paralyzed man,
Han Yeol Daek, and daughters Ji Ae and Sun Ae, and they were a little
strange.
When I went to the salt pan to find Bronze Piece, I found out that the
Seon Ki Chul of ¡®Seon Ki Chul salt¡¯ was Si Woo¡¯s grandfather, and that
Kim Bronze Piece was Si Woo¡¯s father who had disappeared after
abandoning him 10 years ago. I then hear his story bit by bit.
