This book is written in Korean.
Writer Kim Yeon-soo breaks her long silence and publishes her sixth novel in nine years after April's Beauty, July's Sol (2013). For Kim, who has been known as a "prolific writer," releasing novels every two to four years, the past nine years have been a time when "the inner need to change" has been strong, and at the same time, "things have happened that are bound to change externally" (in an interview included in the special booklet Attention Book).
As the internal and external forces of change continued to push her forward, Kim carefully managed her time by immersing herself in writing other than fiction.
By redefining time as something that only flows from the past to the future, Kim convinces us in beautiful and lyrical language of the possibility of re-imagining our present time, our lives. What is special is that this possibility is conveyed in the form of a story.
