About This Book
Meet the SBS special talker, "Wandering Chef," with a book. In April 2009, the first episode of SBS Special [Wandering Sikgaek] was aired. Road food documentary featuring natural cooking researcher Sandang Im Ji-ho. [Wandering Sikgaek] was a documentary composed of people meeting and talking on the street and cooking with grass and ingredients around the house.
Beyond Slow Food, which calls for eating carefully cooked food with good ingredients produced in a good environment, Lim Ji-ho also takes a step further from the concept of Local Food, which sets up eco-friendly tables with organic ingredients grown in my neighborhood. His unique philosophy that grass and ingredients growing around me are essential to my body was a shift in ideas about food and cooking and an innovation in the view of the environment and nature.
Lim Ji-ho's atrocities of decorating a naturalistic table with food ingredients that they could not find while traveling through Jirisan Mountain, Jeju Island, Baekdusan Mountain, and Japan, and providing meals for healing and recovery for children who are struggling with atopic dermatitis were the way to go and to live on.
The book is a collection of up to five of the SBS Special series that has been aired so far. Each chapter consists of the culinary philosophy of Im Ji-ho, a mountain shrine. Through the documentary [Wandering Sikgaek], Lim Ji-ho's meeting with people and food that he wanted to show, as well as the effectiveness of each ingredient that he could not handle due to time constraints and the reasons for using it are detailed.
Behind each warm and touching story is a detailed recipe for the dishes introduced in the text, making it easy to read as a single cookbook.
